Gui zhi shao yao zhi mu tang wan - 桂枝芍药知母丸

Actions : Chronic panarthralgia where pathogenic wind-cold-dampness has lingered in the body for a long time, constrained the qi dynamic, and produced heat from constraint that has , inturn, damaged the yin. For this reason, it combines the strategies of dispelling the wind and elimination of dampness with warming the channels and collaterals as well as nourishing the yin and clearing the heat.

Often used in arthritis; painful swelling due to articular rheumatism, deformed joints swollen with concealing toxin, muscular atrophy due to crane's-knee  wind, motor disturbance and  numbness in the lower limbs .
